They say that the memories of a trip stay with you forever...

I remember swelling with pride every time I witnessed the admiration on the faces of so many people hearing I was Greek, while at the same time wondering how a dot on the map could inspire awe just by its name.


A few years later everything has changed.

Awe and admiration turned to envy, pity and contempt. On recent trips abroad -and I didn't think I would ever admit this - I experienced racism. We had been offered alms and asked to prepay our orders at local cafes and restaurants, when they heard us conversing in Greek, for fear that we would run away without paying.

And all of this negativity towards my country, a nation and culture that gave birth to values and civilizations that culminated all over the world.

Then and there an inspirational thought came to mind... In search for new professional ventures, one must not only consider the financial assets needed to invest in a business, but also the soul and passion, something that we have an excess of in Greece.

After a lot of soul searching, we saw what was in front of our eyes the whole time. Our competitive advantage is our Ethnic Origin.

We our proud to be Greek and we want you to know it.
